In 2005 St John's church celebrated 150 years with a series of concerts.

Since then the demand for these concerts has grown steadily.

​

St Johns has been described as a “must play” venue for many young artists.

​

In 2009 the church was "re-ordered" -pews were removed, a platform built, lighting improved -toilets and a kitchen installed.

 

All of the improvements make the music performances even more enjoyable.  

 

Wheelchair friendly ramps were installed at both entrances.
